About Us

When you come to the Delta Ukulele Circle you will find an enthusiastic, welcoming and supportive crowd of music lovers with an appreciation for the ukulele. This tiny instrument provides a unique opportunity for individuals wanting to play and enjoy music together with others in a very social setting. It is an easy instrument to get started on but with great potential for growth and development. Its portability and affordability lends itself so well to group activity. The group is led through a variety of folk, pop and rock tunes from our club songbooks by our UkeBand. This event is open to people of all ages and everyone is welcome from absolute beginners to advanced players. The songs are easy to follow,  just play the chords you know. You will find it a most enjoyable experience and will learn and develop your playing skills at the same time.

The Delta Ukulele Circle had its first meeting in April, 2011. Formerly known as the White Rock Ukulele Circle we met in South Surrey at the Semiahmoo House Society building for the first nine years until the COVID 19 pandemic forced our closure. We are excited to be starting a new chapter for the club in a beautiful new theatre venue, the North Delta  Centre for the Arts, 11425 84th Avenue, Delta.
